However, a dark cloud hangs over the town’s favorite social spot. The greedy claws of Peppermint Pepperbottom, a fat cat with an appetite for money, threatens to shut down the beloved arcade forever.
So join Fennel and his newfound animal companions on an epic journey to save the arcade! Along the way, you’ll come across:

About The Developers
Button City isn’t just any cozy adventure game. It’s a game made with heart and soul. Above all, it’s about how passion and teamwork can make something great.
Shandiin Yazzie Woodward, a co-founder of Subliminal, is an indigenous (Diné) artist and has a love for all things adorable which led to the development of her colorful artistic style. Once she decided to explore 3D modeling in 2017, it opened up new creative possibilities for her. When she shared her early work on Twitter, it quickly generated excitement among the gaming community.
Shandiin’s husband, Ryan Woodward, played a vital role in the creation of Button City. The couple invested a lot of their free time into the project with Ryan handling the programming and narrative, while Shandiin worked on bringing the world to life visually.
2019 marked a turning point for Subliminal. A dream they had been working on for a while, finally became a reality. Subliminal hired Benjamin Hanken and Valentina Hawes to join their team and went full-time with this passion project. After that, Button City launched on Steam on August 10th, 2021, and its charming world has expanded to major consoles and now mobile platforms.
