Let’s get to know Lee 💖
Tell us a little about yourself and how did you start gaming / creating content?
Hi, I’m Lee aka atwentysomethingloser and I’m a cozy games speedrunner, most known for my Stardew Valley content. I started creating content in January 2021 after wishing for a creative outlet after 2020 and having my favorite YouTube channel at the time end. I was tired of being afraid of the “what if” and decided to just go live on stream after wanting to create content for years.
Do you have any hobbies outside of gaming?
Outside of gaming, I love event planning and baking! I run an event hub with one of my best friends called SDV Collaborative where we host various community events and tournaments for the larger Stardew Valley community. I also recently started bullet journaling and have been having a great time designing and drawing up new pages!
What all-time favorite gaming memory/achievement do you have?
My favorite gaming memory would have to be the first marathon that theValiantSun and I put together called the Perfection Marathon where over the weekend, 20+ different streams happened on 1 long Stardew save file with the end goal of reaching perfection. It brought me closer to the community and other streamers and was an incredible feat as it had never been done before. All of us streamers were hanging out in voice calls cheering each other on and raiding into the next person in line to get the save file. The community loved it just as much as the streamers had fun with it and it sparked a series of events we’ve planned throughout the past year.
Are there any specific tools or gear that have improved your cozy gaming experience?
A wrist guard and good lighting. It’s important to create the ambiance in your space that makes you feel comfortable.
What are your plans and goals as a gaming influencer?
My goals as a gaming influencer are to create a community where people can be authentically themselves (my Twitch tagline has always been “welcome to my weird internet space”) and to continue to spread my love of event planning to a greater audience through innovative events. My goal with streaming has always been to make content I would enjoy watching.
Do you have a favorite cozy playlist/song?
Anything Taylor Swift or Nintendo remixes are my go-to!
Is there someone from the gaming community you’d like to spotlight or recommend to our audience?
theValiantSun – my partner in event crime and Stardew speedrunner. They are constantly pushing me to be a better creator.
Lichatton – An incredible streamer who has cultivated the sweetest community. Whether she’s speedrunning or decorating, she always provides the warmest welcome to all.
Would you rather spend a rainy day, snuggled up playing your favorite cozy game, or venture out on a bright sunny day for a co-op gaming session with friends?
Always a rainy day where I can snuggle up with a blanket and my favorite game! (The majority of my friends have been made through the internet and live across the globe so I wouldn’t be able to venture out quickly unless I hopped on a plane lol)
